WHAT IS BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU?
Martial art forms are famous for offering self-defense techniques that can be used in times of attack or emergencies. These techniques basically tap into the strength and power of the individuals to protect them during an attack. Some of the well-known martial art forms are karate, kung-fu, kickboxing and judo. All these art forms present combat techniques that are a combination of kicks and punches and inflict personal injury or pain to the opponent. Sometimes these techniques may prove fatal to the opponent.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a technique that does not involve kicks or punches. It is fundamentally used by smaller individuals to protect themselves from enemies and people who are larger, stronger and mightier. Jiu Jitsu uses various techniques that are gentle on the opponents so as not to hurt them but strong enough to defeat them.
