Our very special Halloween fitness class
To commemorate the only spooky but fun holiday of America, which has been celebrated since before sliced bread was invented, we organised a special Halloween themed fitness Halloween class for adults, and it couldn’t have been a bigger hit.
On the 28th of October we invited all our fitness class members to celebrate the fun festival with us in a special way and our proposition was met with enthusiasm from our class of adults. The best part of this now modernised and commercial holiday is dressing up in costumes, and so we went ahead with our idea of organizing a Halloween class where everyone would be dressed up in their Halloween costumes and workout. We even went ahead a made a special Halloween playlist which had the best freaky horror-filled tunes of all the eras for our special Halloween workout.
Can there be a better workout song than Michael Jackson’s iconic 80s ‘Thriller’ or ‘Heads will Roll’. The workout routine on these songs was made extra special by the few champs who decided to dress up as zombies in our class that day.
Our special pre-Halloween workout fest was a huge success and all of us had a lot of fun before the rest of the world had even said ‘Happy Halloween!’ and this was all made possible because of the wonderful people in our fitness class who were such good sports and showed great enthusiasm for the idea and took part in the fun and horror filled workout with great gusto. Festivals are all about having fun with people and as they say, ‘The more, the merrier!’
And so I want to thank all members of our fitness class for making our Halloween so fun and memorable. All of them came dressed in their scariest avatar and it really was a sight to behold. So thank you all for making our pre-Halloween fitness fest such a wonderful experience.
I think our Halloween workout brought us all closer together, which only dancing to Beyonce’s Déjà vu while dressed up in pumpkin and vampire costumes can do. We had an absolutely delightful time, timing our steps to a great playlist of scary spooky Halloweenesque songs. I noticed that people were doubly pumped up, and working out harder in their Halloween costumes, than they normally are in their regular boring workout clothes.
We even had a contest for the best costume for our Halloween fitness class and the winners of this contest were Richard Tapia and Tanya Boyd. Congratulations both of you, for dressing up in the best Halloween costume of the group!
The success of this show and the fun-filled morning that we had put a smile on the faces of our entire team, for the whole week and I bet the rest of the people who were a part of our Halloween fitness group also felt rejuvenated and energetic after that day. Our idea was a hit and that has convinced us to make this a tradition, so from now on all our Halloween’s are going to be filled with a great bunch of people working out in scary costumes and having a great time. We are all looking forward to the next fun-filled Halloween.
