Hello folks, Prof. Renato here, I don’t know about you. Still, I am having fun following the Olympic games, precisely the Brazilian and American Judo players and the American and Brazilian Wrestlers. In Judo Brazil did better than the USA this year but in wrestling the USA always does better than almost everyone. It is beautiful to see the athletes overcoming their life difficulties and achieving their medals. Imagine those who did not achieve?! So many life lessons!
On my end, I am teaching, training, and studying martial arts here in Brazil.
I just accomplished the rank of black belt in Kickboxing after almost 4 years of practicing with this organization/federation.
We are very excited to be able to represent this organization and push hard now for this amazing martial art for all our students as they will be able to change belts and be recognized by this worldwide organization – Senshi.
Last Monday I visited a gym here to teach a class and give them some advice and consulting to better their Jiu-Jitsu and Judo Programs.
Also, some of our kids competed last weekend, and here are some pictures:

Hello Folks, Prof. Renato here directly from Brazil, with some updates. It has been 2 weeks and a lot of work here, visiting all my teachers (Judo and Jiu Jitsu), teaching, and training. This week I have a hard kickboxing training camp held by Mr. Francisco Filho an amazing old timer Kickboxer from Brazil. The Camp is hard I usually lose around 8 pounds during the camp.
After that, I will go around the Sampa Representatives in Brazil to check their work and see if they are on the same page. To see the visits and work we are doing in all the dojos in Brazil and worldwide please check the Sampa BJJ Instagram @sampabjj – and mine is @opapairenato (but this is mostly gastronomy hahaha, so one day we all make a trip to Brazil).
Also, congrats to our competitors and the coaches who were there supporting them this weekend.
