We are excited to invite you to a very special event celebrating Sampa Jiu Jitsu’s 15-year anniversary. This milestone represents not only our journey, but the strength of the community we have built together.
The event will take place in Big Bear, at a basketball court inside City Hall (full address and logistics will be shared soon).
Event Overview
Kids Program (Morning Session)
June 6th, 2026
Start Time: 9:00 AM
We will begin with a two-hour training session for our kids, followed by a friendly, competition-style experience.
All participants will receive medals
The format is designed to simulate a competition environment
No scoring will be applied for younger age groups, ensuring a positive, low-pressure experience
The goal is exposure, confidence-building, and enjoyment—not performance pressure
Pricing Structure
$30 – until end of April
$40 – until May 15
$50 – after May 15
Graduation Ceremony
June 6th, 2026
Start Time: 11:00 AM
Following the kids’ event, we will host a belt graduation ceremony for students from both our Fontana and Glendora locations.

Adult Program (Afternoon)
June 6th, 2026
Start Time: 12:00 PM
We are honored to host a 2-hour seminar with multi-time world champion João Miyao for our adult students.
$75 if registered before April 30
$90 if registered by May 15
$110 if registering after May 15
Facility & Experience
The venue offers a large setup with six mat areas, allowing us to comfortably host all activities.
These types of events are something we regularly organize in Europe and Brazil, and we are proud to finally bring this experience to our own community here.
Community Gathering
After the event, we plan to organize a casual get-together with food and drinks—a great opportunity for families, students, and coaches to connect outside the mats.

Or return home the same day
This event is about more than training—it’s about community, connection, and shared growth. We look forward to celebrating this milestone with all of you.
